PLEASE NOTE:  There will be no Wednesday evening worship this week, January 2.  Holy Communion will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 9.

 

THE JANUARY CALENDAR AND NEWS will be available after today's worship.

 

THE CHURCH COUNCIL will meet this Wednesday evening, January 2, at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Room.  Your attendance is very important.

 

YOUTH will meet next Sunday, January 6, at 7:00 PM.  The Junior High Youth will gather at 6:00 PM to work on the cards for Phil's Friends.

 

GUILD MEMBERS are reminded of their meeting next Sunday evening, January 6, at 7:00 PM in the Fellowship Room.  Visitors and new members are always welcome!  Questions???  Contact Janet Morey (342-3181).

 

AN OPEN FORUM to discuss our increasing school enrollment and accommodations for that will be held at 1:00 PM next Sunday, January 6 (before the annual Voters' Meeting) in the gymnasium.  Everyone is encouraged to come and participate in this discussion pertaining to our school ministry here at St. John's.

OUR ANNUAL VOTERS' MEETING will be held next Sunday, January 6, at 1:30 PM in the Fellowship Room.  The business at hand for this meeting will include

·         election of church officers for 2013

·         approving expenditures for 2013

·         school staffing

All confirmed members of our congregation, 18 years and older, are encouraged to attend.

 

THE WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY will begin again on Wednesday, January 9, from 3:30-4:30 PM at the parsonage.  The study will be on Luke.  Contact Emily Cook (447-8693) to enroll and if you would like to order the study guide.  Check out the church blog for more information.

 

THOSE WHO DONATED POINSETTIAS are asked to please take them home after worship next Sunday, January 6.
