First Sunday in Lent

From dust we are, and to dust we shall return.

The sadness of this life is on our minds as we observe Lent, and as we witness the horrific tragedy in Japan.  The story of humanity is indeed saturated with grief and sorrow. 

Where is God?  Is He far away somewhere, watching our sad story unfold? 

We fragile beings can find our hope in only One: Jesus, who entered our story, and through suffering and love, changed the end of our story.  Listen to Sunday's sermon here, and take heart!
