TODAY IS TRINITY
SUNDAY, and we
observe it by saying the Athanasian Creed during our worship. "The Athanasian Creed declares that its
teaching concerning the Holy Trinity and our Lord's incarnation are "the
catholic faith." In other words,
this is what the true Church of all times and all places has confessed. More than fifteen centuries later, the Church
continues to confess this truth, confident that the triune God, Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit, has given Himself for our salvation." (LSB, p. 319)
TODAY'S ALTAR FLOWERS have been given in thanksgiving and
celebration of the 55th wedding anniversary of Delbert & Alberta Tormoehlen
on June 1 by their daughters, Joan Peters, Nancy Crockett, and Linda Blanford
and their husbands and children. May God
grant them many more happy years together!
TODAY WE REJOICE WITH Dan & Jeanne Lienhoop as they
bring their son, SAWYER DANIEL, to be baptized.
Sawyer's sponsors are his aunts and uncles, Derek & Kristie Wessel
and Josh & Liana Lienhoop. God's
blessings to you, Sawyer!
