OUR FIFTH MIDWEEK Lenten worship will be held this
Wednesday at 7:00 PM. The Youth will be
serving supper before worship, beginning at 5:45 PM.
THE PLANNING COMMITTEE for our 175th anniversary will meet
TODAY after worship.
THE CHURCH COUNCIL will meet this Wednesday, April 2,
after the worship service (7:30 PM). All
council members are urged to attend.
APRIL CALENDAR AND NEWS will be available from the ushers
after today's worship.
THE QUARTERLY VOTERS' MEETING will be held next Sunday, April 6, at
7:00 PM. All confirmed members of our
congregation, 18 years and older, are encouraged to attend.
PHIL'S FRIENDS will be gathering at 6:00 PM next
Sunday for card-making, with the Youth group meetings following at 7:00 PM.
A THANK-YOU has been received from the Pregnancy
Care Center for the donation of $849.53 through the Baby Bottle Campaign. This donation will be used to provide area
churches and schools with professional abstinence training, underwrite the work
of the PCC, and provide resources to post-abortion Bible study.
CHURCH/SCHOOL LAWNMOWING:
Many thanks to Tim Hoene for donating his equipment and time to care for
our church and school lawns these past years.
A bid has been received for lawn mowing for the upcoming season. If anyone else from our congregation would be
interested in submitting a bid, please give that to Doyce Eckelman before this
Wednesday, April 2.

NEXT SUNDAY, April 6, Zion Lutheran Church,
Seymour, will celebrate 40 years of "Christ's Love In Action" through
its kindergarten program. This
celebration will be observed at both the 8:00 and 10:30 AM service. A reception and program will be held at 9:15
AM, and an open house of the school from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM. Everyone, especially former students, is invited
to join them for this special day of rejoicing.
A NEW DOCUMENTARY, Fleeced:
Speaking Out Against Senior Financial Abuse, will be shown, free of charge,
at the YES Cinema in Columbus on Monday, April 14, at 6:30 PM. This is an informative and thought-provoking
documentary on the impact of financial exploitation of old adults, their families,
and their community. After the 30 minute
film, a panel of state and local experts will participate in a discussion and
question and answer session. Free
concessions will be offered.
A NEW 8-WEEK EXERCISE class session will begin TOMORROW. A
variety of times and levels are offered.
