PASTOR COOK will be attending the Symposia at Fort Wayne this week, Tuesday-Thursday.  Pastor Ed Keinath will be leading our worship Wednesday evening.

ANNIVERSARY CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS are still available for sale.  Contact Becky in the church office.  Cost is $12 each.  The anniversary committee is also still taking pre-orders for a commemorative plate featuring a color photograph of the church, along with the anniversary theme.  If 144 plates are pre-ordered, the cost would be $20 each.  The deadline for ordering the plates is Sunday, February 22.

ALTAR GUILD VOLUNTEERS are needed for June and July.  If you would be able to help out, please contact Cari Hercamp (812-528-0547)

CONGREGATIONAL HISTORY:  G. Vornholt, H. Zur Oeweste, D. Sanders, J.H. Kerkhof, D. Pardieck, B. Burbrink, F. Becker, G.F. Rittman, and G. Von dem Fange were some of the earliest settlers and founders of St. John's.  These early settlers met in private for divine worship, which was usually a "Reading Service" (Lesegottesdienst).

THE PREGNANCY CARE CENTER is running extremely short of infant formula.  Gerber Good Start Gentle and Gerber Good Start Soothe are what most clients ask for.  Any donations may be brought to our church office and will be taken to the PCC.

ST. PAUL, CLIFTY, PRESCHOOL is now registering for the 2015-2016 school year.  Classes for 3 year olds (Little Lambs) and 4 year olds (Little Doves) are being offered.  Informational brochures are available in our narthex or persons may contact Henry Wischmeier, Director, at 376-6504.

CAMP LAKEVIEW:  Where can your children experience Christian growth while riding horses, canoeing, swimming, doing arts & crafts, and playing games?  At Lakeview Ministries!  The camp is currently distributing registration materials for campers (grades K-12) for its 2015 summer season.  Sunday School children will be receiving a 2015 summer brochure in their classes today.  Extra brochures are available in the narthex.  Persons may also visit the camp's website at www.camplakeview.com or call the camp office at 812-342-4815.  The registration process begins on February 2.

A SOUP SUPPER AND EUCHRE PARTY will be held at St. Peter, Waymansville, next Sunday, January 25.  The supper will begin at 5:00 PM ($5/person) and Euchre will follow at 6:30 PM ($5/person).  This is being sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, with all proceeds going to support Freeman & Susan Rohlfing, missionaries serving in the Silesia region of the Czech Republic.  Everyone invited.
