THE SEASON OF LENT continues with our Second Midweek
Lenten worship Wednesday at 7 PM. The
Youth will be serving supper before the service, beginning at 5:45 PM.
MARCH CALENDAR AND NEWS will be available
from the ushers after today's worship.
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION will meet today after
Sunday School and Bible Class.
LADIES AID MEMBERS are reminded to bring their Mite Boxes
to the meeting this Wednesday, beginning at 9:00 AM with Bible Study followed
by the business meeting from 10:00-11:00 AM.

PARENTS OF OUR STUDENT CONFIRMANDS are asked to meet
briefly after church next Sunday, March 1.
A SPECIAL ENVELOPE for the Trinity High School dues are
provided in your offering envelope box.
Members are encouraged to include that in the offering plate
($16/communicant member) as that expense has already been paid this year.
THE 175TH ANNIVERSARY CALENDARS are still available
for those households who have not yet received one. Each household will receive one complimentary
copy. Additional copies may be purchased
for $10/calendar. Check with Becky in
the church office.
CONGREGATIONAL HISTORY: Pastor Schuerman wrote to Dr. Sihler in Ft.
Wayne, a Lutheran pastor who was later prominent in the organization of the
Missouri Synod, informing him of the plight of White Creek. Before Sihler responded, Rev. Suhr, of the Walnut
Street Protestant Church in Cincinnati, of whose church most of the people here
had been members during their brief stay in Cincinnati, sent Candidate Fick, a
consecrated Lutheran pastor, who had just come over from Germany.
LOOKING FOR COMFIRMATION PICTURES: The class of 1932 whose members were Edell
Eckelman, Evelyn Kobbe Rueter, Selma Peters Claycamp, and Thressie Luenebrink,
and the classes of 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013 are needed. Please contact Jean Meyer (812-343-2361) if

who might be contacted about them.
CONGRATULATIONS TO Dan & Jeanne Lienhoop on the birth
of their son, THEODORE AUGUST LIENHOOP, on February 12. Theodore arrived weighing 9 lbs. 12 ozs. and
measuring 21.5 ins. Everyone is doing
fine - God's blessings to them!
THE LCMS CHURCHES of the Columbus Circuit will be
sponsoring noted speaker and head of the Ruth Institute, Dr. Jennifer Roback
Morse, speaking on The Impact of
Re-Defining Marriage on Children at the Southside Elementary School
auditorium on Monday evening, March 2, at 7 PM.
This presentation will explore the profound and lasting consequences
resulting from re-defining marriage and parenthood. The public is invited.
THE LLL SPRING BANQUET will be held on
Sunday, March 8, at 5:30 PM at the Immanuel Social Room, Seymour. Tickets ($15.00) are available in our church
office or from Keith Mensendiek. Guest
speaker will be Rev. Gene Ernst, Manager of the Indiana Orphan Grain
Train.
