LWML SUNDAY is being observed today. This year’s theme for celebrating all that
God has done through the mission work of the Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML)
is “Our Rest in a Changing World,” based on Psalm 62:1-8. As God’s children, we rest in the assurance
that He loves us and sent His Son to redeem us.
God is our rock and salvation.
That firm foundation enables us to reach out into a changing world in
need of the Gospel. Since 1942, the LWML
has affirmed each woman’s identity as a child of God and her relationship with
Jesus Christ, encouraging the equipping Christian women to live out their lives
in active mission ministries, and to support missions around the world through
their sacrificial gifts of mites, tithes, offerings, and tireless service.
Mite boxes are
available in our narthex if you would like to support this ministry with your
daily spare change and may be turned in to our church office at any time.
QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER ITEMS need to be given to Becky by

STEWARDSHIP
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: Hebrews 3:18-19
“And to whom did
he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were
disobedient? So we see that they were
unable to enter because of unbelief.”
Unbelief leads to disobedience – that is, every sin expresses the
opposite of faith. True and living faith
guides us into the Lord’s way and the Lord’s plan. And when we fall into sin it’s because we are
not trusting the Lord’s goodness and provision.

WEEK! T
