LUTHERAN COMMUNITY HOME is currently in the middle of a fund drive to raise money to purchase a new wheelchair accessible bus. To date, we have raised just over $47,000 and our goal is $60,000. We have found a need to also purchase a van to transport individual residents to medical appointments and services. It will be much more cost effective and will save miles on the bus to use this vehicle when we are transporting only one resident. Contributions received over and above the cost of the new bus will be used to help purchase this type of vehicle. If you would like to be a part of our fund raising efforts, please call us at 522-5927, stop by, or mail your gift to 111 West Church Avenue, Seymour. Lutheran Community Home is a non-profit organization and your gift will be tax deductible. We would very much appreciate your help!
May God bless you all, Karyn Fleetwood, Administrator.

Easy Yoke

Weary.
Heavily burdened.
Laboring.
Exhausted.
Is this you?

Hear the voice of Jesus, calling you to rest in Him:

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30
