THE LENTEN SEASON continues this
Wednesday evening at 7 PM. Pastor Jeff
Patterson from St. Peter’s, Brownstown, will preach on “Gethsemane: A Place of Strength.”
The Guild will be serving sloppy joes and assorted salads and desserts
for supper before the service, beginning at 5:45 PM.
HELP IS NEEDED for food preparation,
serving, and clean-up for the LLL banquet, which is being served by our
school. Please see the sign-up sheet on
the bulletin board in the front hall of school for times needed. Any and all help is truly appreciated!

enrollment for the 2016-2017 school year.

BROOM DONATIONS: The LWML is filling scrub buckets for the
Orphan Grain Train to be used in disaster response. Sturdy push brooms and regular brooms are
needed. If you would like to donate,
brooms may be brought to the front hall of school. Jean Voelker will take care of all
donations. (This week Menards is running
a special on a regular broom for $7.99 with a $3.00 rebate.)

LLL SPRING BANQUET: The Spring Banquet of the Lutheran
Laymen’s League will be held here at White Creek next Sunday, March 6. Registration will begin at 5:30 PM, followed
by the meal, entertainment, elections, and the guest speaker, Pastor Jung. Tickets are $15/person and are available in
our church office or from Keith Mensendiek (812-343-3288). The meal is being served by White Creek
Lutheran School with proceeds benefiting the school’s scholarship fund. See Keith Mensendiek for tickets – deadline
