The Rockhills need our help!

As many of you know the Rockhills are expecting a baby in October. Because James is up at the Seminary throughout the week, as Shel's due date approaches they decided to have the whole family live with James in Ft. Wayne starting this past Sunday. As they were moving up to Ft. Wayne on Sunday, the engine on their 2006 Trailblazer blew up and now needs to be replaced. On top of that, the recent storm also dropped a large limb on their Columbus home's electrical service and ripped the service out of the electrical meter! James spent yesterday calling around to different shops trying to find the best deal on a replacement engine, and is coming down in the next day or two to fix the electricity.

If you would like to help the Rockhills, might I suggest that we collect checks made out to the Rockhills here at the church office (or on Sunday), as a gift to help them cover the cost of replacing the engine? James has found a used engine with 80K miles on it that he can have installed for $3,500 total, but it comes with no warrantee. He also has the option of replacing it with a crate engine with a 100K mile warrantee for $6,800.

For the time being, the Rockhills have a loaner van for the next two weeks. After that they can use their little Honda until the baby comes, but then they will need something with an additional row of seating.
