EVERYONE IS INVITED TO Mrs. Buss’s retirement celebration to
be held on Sunday, May 6. Our church and
school families are asked to bring a salad or vegetable side dish to share for
the luncheon. Meat, dessert, drinks, and
table service will be provided. If you
have any pictures you would like to share in a slideshow that will be presented
that day, please drop them off in the church office or email them to wvandercar@whitecreek.org. by this Friday, April 27. Memories
and best wishes for Mrs. Buss may be posted to the special Facebook page set up
for this occasion.
THE LWML SPRING RALLY will be held next Saturday, April 28,
at Prince of Peace, Martinsville.
Registration ($5.00) begins at 8:30 a.m. with the rally at 9:00
a.m. Rachael Popplewell from Magdalene
House Women’s Shelter will be the guest speaker. Hygiene items (toothpaste, toothbrushes,
mouthwash, soap, lotions, etc.) will be gathered. All ladies are invited.

What does it mean to know the Lord? It
starts with being known by the Lord: He
claims us as His own and calls us by name.
Then, once we are His, we learn to know Him…and in knowing Him we learn
to imitate Him. And that is how the
Christian life of good works and generosity grows from the Lord’s grace.
