Please pray for Mildred Behrman. She is being flown to Methodist Hospital - they are not sure what is wrong with her.

May 6 Weekly News

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL registration forms are due TODAY.  Forms are available in the narthex and the church office.  Group leaders and group helpers are needed.  Contact Pastor Cook or Becky if you would be interested in helping.

A SPECIAL VOTERS’ MEETING will be held after worship on Sunday, May 20.  Our school’s enrollment is increasing faster than first projected.  Among topics that we need to discuss are our options for staffing and building space. 

AN ALUMINUM CAN DRIVE, sponsored by our school’s WCA, will be held this Friday-Sunday, May 11-13.  A trailer will be parked on the church/school grounds to receive items.

LAST SUNDAY, St. John’s Foundation granted $6,615 to complete payment for the church roof and steeple, $1,300 for the recent organ repair, and $664 to complete payment for the church carpet cleaning.

BASEBALL TICKETS: If you have not yet paid for your tickets for the August 19 Reds/Cubs game, please do so as soon as possible.  Checks may be made payable to our school.  Ticket price totals are available in the office. Tickets will be distributed as soon as they arrive.
