Halie Brumley
Please continue to keep Halie in your prayers as she continues to suffer from epilepsy. It was recently determined that Halie is having more than 100 seizures a day. In the upcoming weeks Halie will undergo several surgeries: one to replace her VNS, and the other to place a feeding tube. (Halie's seizures are burning enough calories that her normal eating is still not enough to stop her from loosing weight.) The Brumley family appreciates your prayers and support.

October 28 Weekly News
TODAY WE OBSERVE THE
REFORMATION,
which occurred on October 31, 1517. On
that day Martin Luther posted the 95 points of discussion, called the 95
Theses, on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. These Theses would be part of the public
debates held every Friday afternoon at the church. From these debates, the Lutheran Church was
born, centered around salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
