CHURCH HISTORY:  In December of 1938, a new system of collecting monies was adopted.  The congregation was divided into six districts.  A board member and finance member were assigned to each district. The board member was to take care of the monies for home purposes and the finance member was to take care of monies for Synodical purposes.  At the end of each quarter, officers were to see members who were in arrears or hadn’t paid anything for church or missions.  The purpose was to encourage such members, but not to provoke them.

2016 LUTHERAN ANNUAL:  If anyone would like to order a copy of The Lutheran Annual, which lists thousands of ordained and commissioned ministers, social ministry organizations, schools, churches, statistics, and more and enables you to reach out across the Missouri Synod by email, mail, phone, fax or online, please contact Becky in the church office.  Cost is $27.99.
