Sympathy to the Enzinger Family
Deepest sympathy is extended to the Enzinger family as they mourn the sudden, unexpected death of Shirley early Sunday morning. Visitation will be at Voss Funeral Home in Seymour on Tuesday, October 16, from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 17, at church from 9:30 AM until time of the funeral service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in our cemetery.

MANY THANKS TO Pastor Brandt for leading our worship
today and Wednesday evening and to Debbie Flohr for being our organist this
morning.
OUR PARKING LOT will be sealed this Thursday, October
18. The church office will be closed,
and Pastor Brandt's Bible Study will not meet, as the parking lot will be
blocked off that day.
LWML SUNDAY will be observed next Sunday, October
21. The Mite Box is in the narthex to
receive mites for missions throughout this month.
THE THRIVENT CHAPTER elections will be held next Sunday,
October 21, before and after worship.
Voting will be done in the narthex.
Members voting will be included in a drawing for Starbucks gift cards.
SENIOR LEAGUE MEMBERS will meet for supper next Sunday
evening, October 21, at 5:30 PM at the Waymansville Fish Fry and will then
return to the Fellowship Room for their meeting and socializing.
LADIES AID MEMBERS will meet on Wednesday, October 24,
at 9 AM in the Fellowship Room. Ladies
are asked to bring good scissors to cut blue jeans and work on a few other
crafts. Bible Study will begin at 11 AM
followed by the business meeting.
Kathryn Taulman is hostess, and Joanne Kerkhof will lead the Bible
Study.
CONGRATULATIONS TO Jason & Tracey Engelau on the
birth of their twin sons, HENRY ANDREW and SAMUEL AUGUST, born last
Sunday. Henry arrived weighing 7 lbs. 10
ozs. and measuring
20 1/2 inches, and Samuel weighed 7
lbs. 5 ozs. and measured 20 inches.

served at Immanuel Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall this Friday, October 19,
from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Auxiliary
of CrossLife Ministries will be hosts, serving chicken casserole, green beans,
salads, roll, desserts, and drinks.
Free-will donations will be accepted, and you may dine in or carry
out. Funds raised will be matched by
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
Tickets can be obtained from any Auxiliary member, by calling CrossLife
Ministries at 812-522-8440, or at the door the day of the luncheon. "Helping Hands" donation boxes
located on the tables will help support Anchor House.

will have its annual Fish Fry next Sunday, October 21, from 4:00-7:00 PM. A free-will offering will be received and

TRINITY LUTHERAN HIGH
SCHOOL will be
performing its 8th annual musical on Thursday, November 8, through Sunday,
November 11. This year's production is Annie Get Your Gun. Performances will take place in the school's
Commons at 7:00 PM nightly. In addition,
a matinee on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 will be available. Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased

HOG ROAST:
The White Creek Methodist Church will hold its annual Hog Roast on
Saturday, October 27, from 4-7 PM. Carry
out service will be available. A free-will offering will be received for the
meal. Also featured will be a quilt and
dollhouse raffle, baked goods and handmade crafts sale, and musical
entertainment. Everyone invited.
