Survey
MRS. VANDERCAR is working to complete her master’s degree, and as part of a final project, she is conducting a short research survey about how our school is valued and perceived. She would greatly appreciate your input! You can pick up a paper copy of the survey in the narthex after church OR take the survey here to contribute your thoughts online.

September 2 Weekly News
SUNDAY SCHOOL AND
BIBLE CLASS will
resume NEXT Sunday, September 9. The
Board of Elders, due to numerous requests, have decided to keep our Sunday
service at 9 AM, and have Sunday School and Bible Class afterward, from
10:15-11:00 AM on a 3-month trial basis, after which time it will be evaluated
to see if it should continue.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
TEACHERS are
asked to meet with superintendant, Matt Riley, after worship. Please stay in church for this meeting.
BIBLE CLASS:
What are some of the headlines that have grabbed your attention lately,
and how should Christians respond? What
does God's Word say about vaccines? How
old should we be when we marry? Are
babies sinful? Being 'spiritual' but not
'religious'? Early communion and
confirmation? During this year's Adult
Bible Class we will look at a host of contemporary issues and have the
opportunity to suggest topics that you may have wondered about, but never had
the opportunity to ask. Join us in the
Fellowship Room, beginning September 9th from 10:15-11:00 AM!
BRICK ORDERS will be taken through tomorrow. Cost is $100 per brick. Contact Ernie & Donna Dettmer, Larry
& Janice Claycamp, or Lloyd & Jean Meyer. Bricks will be ordered after Labor Day, with
placement sometime in October.
THE CHURCH OFFICE will be closed tomorrow in observance
of the Labor Day holiday.

Our annual Smorgasbord/Bazaar will be held on Saturday, September

DONATIONS NEEDED: Our annual Smorgasbord/Bazaar is
nearing and any donations from members are needed. Whether you sew, cook, knit, crochet, or like
to bake or just glue things together, any item that you think others might like

Items may be brought to school Friday afternoon after 2:00 PM or
Saturday morning. If pick-up is needed,
call Sharon Dettmer at 342-4084.
