OUR DECEMBER VOTERS' MEETING will be held TODAY after worship.  (NO Bible Class.)  The business at hand will include accepting the slate of nominees for 2013 church offices and determining our worship schedule time.  All confirmed members of our congregation, 18 years and older, are encouraged to attend.

CHRISTMAS EVE PRE-SERVICE MUSIC:  If you would like to participate in the pre-service Christmas Eve, either singing or playing a musical instrument, please sign up on the sheet posted on the bulletin board in the front hall of school.

OUR FIRST MIDWEEK ADVENT WORSHIP will be held this Wednesday evening at 7 PM.  Holy Communion will be given as it is the first Wednesday of the month.  Our 7th and 8th graders will be singing during the service.  Our Guild will be serving turkey tetrazzini, salad, bread, and desserts (provided by the Ladies Aid) before worship, beginning at 5:45 PM.

INGATHERING FOR ARMED FORCES:  A sheet listing needed items for our troops is available in the narthex.  These items will be gathered and shipped out for the Christmas holiday.  Please consider sending in items to help with this project and let our soldiers know they have our support!  A box will be in the front hall of school and in the church narthex to receive items.  The items will be prepared for shipment next Saturday, December 8, in our school cafeteria.

THE YOUTH GROUPS will be decorating the church and narthex today after Sunday School.  Many thanks to them and all who help!

NEXT SUNDAY Mrs. Barnett will be recognized for 15 years of service and Mrs. Clow for 35 years of teaching at the close of the 9:00 AM worship service.  Dr. Jon Mielke from the Indiana District office will be making the presentations.

COOKIE SALE:  The Ladies Aid and Guild will hold their annual Cookie Sale next Sunday, December 9, in the front hall of school.  Come and purchase some delicious goodies!  Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be providing matching funds. Those donating cookies are asked to have 4 dozen brought to the front upstairs hall of school by 1:00 this Saturday.
