OUR SECOND MIDWEEK LENTEN WORSHIP will be held Wednesday evening at 7 PM. Pastor Cook’s sermon theme will be “Lead Us Not Into Temptation.” The Guild will be serving a lasagna supper before the service, beginning at 5:45 PM.
WE HAVE LAUNCHED a new blog entitled White Creek Weekly. Our intention is to post our weekly announcements on the blog as well as provide links to sermon audio, Scripture readings, and other important news. You can view the blog by going to whitecreekweekly.blogspot.com.
DEPOSITS OF $260 to the school and $289 to the church have been made on behalf of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans’ Thrivent Choice program. A listing of those directing their choice dollars has been posted on the bulletin board in the front school hall.
THE CONGREGATION is invited to the wedding of Lorna Eckelman and Matthew Meyer this coming Saturday evening at 5:30 PM here at St. John’s. The reception is immediately following at the National Guard Armory, Freeman Field, Seymour.
THE FORT WAYNE CONCORDIA LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR will present a concert of sacred music on Friday, March 25, at 7:30 PM at St. Paul, Clifty. All are invited to this free event.
