OUR SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE will begin NEXT Sunday, May 29, with worship beginning at 9:00 AM. Sunday School and Bible Class will recess for the summer and resume again on Sunday, September 11.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: “Big Jungle Adventure” is the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School to be held June 7-8-9 from 6:00-8:15 PM each evening for children 3 years through 5th grade (this year). Any last minute registrations may be turned in yet TODAY.
JUNE CALENDAR AND NEWS ITEMS should be submitted to Becky by TOMORROW.
LADIES AID MEMBERS are reminded of their meeting this Wednesday, beginning with the workday at 9 AM, followed by devotions and the business meeting at 11 AM. Lunch will be served by the hostesses at noon. As always, guests are always welcome!
EVERYONE IS INVITED to the graduation ceremony for our eighth grade class of 2011 to be held this Thursday evening, May 26, at 7 PM. Mr. Gerry Clow will be the guest speaker. Janelle Peters, valedictorian, and Bailey Newkirk, salutatorian, will be giving their presentations. Refreshments and the awards presentations will be held in the gym immediately following the service.

OPEN HOUSE: Summertime is time for CAMP! Everyone is invited to Camp Lakeview’s Annual Open House on Sunday, June 5. On this day, the camp will be welcoming its first campers at the new Lakeview Villages campsite. Opening worship will begin at 11:00 AM with guest speaker Rev. Art Wehrmeister from Calvary Lutheran in Indianapolis. The service will be followed by a delicious picnic lunch and other afternoon activities including tours of the new camp, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming, and more. Come on out and see all the new exciting things growing up at camp!
THE PREGNANCY CARE CENTER will offer its summer session of volunteer training on June 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, and 16 from 6-9 PM each evening at the Memorial Baptist Church in Columbus. This training is for individuals wanting to serve Christ by ministering to others. Information is available in the narthex to those interested in this ministry.
