PASTOR COOK will be leading a Bible Study on the Book of Isaiah beginning this Thursday, January 17, from 10:30-11:30 AM.  Contact Becky in the office to enroll.

 

"PITCH IN/HASH OUT" BIBLE STUDY:  Come join us for a potluck dinner and small group Bible study Monday nights in the Fellowship Room beginning at 6:00 PM.  For a schedule of dinner themes and discussion topics, visit the church website at www.whitecreek.org.  Babysitting is available during the study portion for $2/child.  No need to enroll, but contact Whitney Vandercar (812-988-7586) with questions or email her at wvandercar@whitecreek.org to be added to the emailing list.

NEXT SUNDAY, January 20, is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday .  Each person will have the opportunity to give a penny for each year of life he/she has been blessed to celebrate.  A basket will be in the narthex to receive this collection.

PLEASE NOTE that there will be NO Wednesday evening worship service on January 23 as Pastor Cook will be attending a pastors' conference at Fort Wayne.

TRINITY OPEN HOUSE:  Trinity Lutheran High School invites students and their families to an open house  Friday,  January 18, from 4:00-6:00 PM.  All eighth grade students will be entered in a drawing to win a Trinity t-shirt.  Interested eighth grade students will also receive a $75 voucher that covers half of the registration costs at Trinity for the 2013-2014 school year.  Please enter through the commons.

ST. PETER, WAYMANSVILLE, will hold a Soup Supper & Euchre Party on Sunday, January 27.  The supper will begin at 5:30 PM with cost of $5/person, and euchre will begin at 6:30 PM with cost of $5/person.  Sponsored by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, all proceeds will go to help Rachel Powell, a deaconess intern in Lima, Peru, and a Concordia-River Forest student, as she works with fellow missionaries start a new community center in San Borja, Peru.
