CONGREGATIONAL HISTORY:  In the year 1853, at the Cleveland Convention, St. John's became a member of the Missouri Synod (at that time known as The German Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Missouri, Ohio, and Other States.  The name was shortened to The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in 1947.)  We have stayed true to Synod.
