WE COME IN PRAYER:  Almighty God, You have given us this good land as our heritage.  Grant that we remember Your generosity, be grateful for all Your blessings, and live an honorable life to Your glory.  This day we remember the sacrifices made by those who put their lives on the line for us.  We are grateful that many survived, and we shed a tear for those who paid the ultimate price.  May we never forget their devotion that has kept our freedom intact.  More importantly, we remember the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Who paid a price He did not owe – to free us from a debt we could not pay.  Hear us for Jesus’ sake.  Amen.

MEMBERS OF ST. JOHN’S have the opportunity to submit the name of a pastor they know who is equipped to serve the needs of our congregation and school.  When submitting the pastor’s name, include the congregation and city he currently serves and the district he is a member of.  Submissions may be given to Chairman Bryan Schroer, any of the Elders, or dropped off to the church office.
