LADIES AID MEMBERS (and any guests!) will meet this Wednesday at 9:00 am for Bible study and their monthly meeting.

DID YOU KNOW that when you give to The Baby Bottle Campaign you’re giving mothers support services that can last for years?  Besides offering pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and counseling, Clarity offers classes for expectant moms to help them quit smoking, car seat classes, and Safe Place to Sleep classes.  Help Clarity change lives and keep filling your baby bottle! Every filled baby bottle is a gift that helps to save a life.  Join in and make a difference, one life at a time.

“THANK YOU so much for your prayers, get well cards, and food from friends here at White Creek.  I especially want to say a big thank you to Pastor Whitmore for his many visits to the hospital and to our home.  I appreciate you all so very much.  Thank you to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I love you all!” – Cheryl Mensendiek

MANY THANKS TO those who came out and helped with our spring grounds clean-up and maintenance – very much appreciated!

THE ALUMINUM CAN DRIVE is still going on today.  A trailer is parked on the school grounds to receive items.

COME AND ENJOY a day at camp!  Lakeview Ministries will be hosting an Open House at Camp Lakeview and at Camp Cedarbrook at the beginning of June.  Everyone is invited.  Camp Lakeview’s Open House will be Sunday, June 3, and will begin with a worship service at 11:00am.  The Open House at Camp Cedarbrook will be held on Saturday, June 9, with a worship service at 10:00am.  Both worship services will be followed by a BBQ lunch and many activities for the entire family to enjoy!  Free-will donations will be accepted to offset expenses for the day.

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:      Acts. 2:1
“When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place.” Pentecost was the Old Testament harvest festival: a time of thanksgiving, bounty, and the giving of gifts.  How appropriate that in the New Testament it takes on the meaning of a new harvest: the ripe fields of the nations, bringing in the elect of every tribe and tongue to sing the Lord’s praise.  Every farmer knows that it is God Who gives the increase and that the harvest calls for thanksgiving.

“Every branch of mine that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear fruit.” God is interested in the fruit that we bear in good works, and He even prunes us so that we may bring forth more fruit.  Trusting in our Lord’s work for us, being grafted by grace into His vine, we desire to be more like Him, to grow into His image.  That’s growth in fruit bearing…and it always comes with some pruning.
